Ksenia Carenou - France

Ksenia Carenou is currently doing an internship at SIDART from 12th April 2010 up till 30th of July. She is a student of the Business School of La Rochelle in France. Through the school network she found out about SIDART. She wanted to have an asset in her professional experience by going for an internship in a country totally different from what she used to see up till now. India is continuously developing during the last few years, it will be a mess not to see how the people are working there to make their own country growing up even more and more.
After visiting the website, she decided that to work in order to defend such a cause of women empowerment, childcare, HIV/AIDS prevention, malnutrition, maternal death, education, fighting against child-marriage, will be the best experience. She already worked in an association in France helping handicapped people to get integrated in the society. So working for social issues is important for her and should be, according to her, a part of everyone’s experience in life.
At SIDART the work is interesting. It can be writing reports on seminars, working on fundraising, projects proposals or participating in seminars.
After this internship she will go to study one year in England in the University of Bristol, then another internship abroad before being graduated and starting professional life in the world of business. She wishes to continue her collabration with SIDART and even recommend more students as they get multiple options here.

Anna is interested in working together with people, development aid and developing countries. During her university too she took part in several projects. Working at SIDART specially fascinated her due to working at grass roots. She said before leaving “I would like to be contributing to the cause of humanity with SIDART in any possible ways even after my internships”. Anna likes travelling and organizing different events.
