Divya Pahwa – Canada

I,Divya Pahwa hail from Canada and has had a wonderful and dynamic time at as a trainee at SIDART. I joint the NGO in 2011. Learning about women’s empowerment and development issues, having an incredible time with field work, interacting with women, and watching the process of empowerment unfold before my eyes has made my time here incredible at SIDART in Jaipur, the pink city.I have learnt and gained immense knowledge about the various unique, problems and obstacles women face in the rural areas of Jaipur and Sanganer and how SIDART is working to make them aware and stand up for their rights, through regular interactions in seminars and hand holding otherwise too. I hope to take the knowledge and further stay involved in development issues back home.
