Hello I’m Kelsey Mitchell and I was a trainee in SIDART in the summer of 2009. I am a senior at Cornell University majoring in International Agriculture and Rural Development with minors in Applied Economics and Global Health. When I came to India I was a research assistant for Chris Barrett doing a social science stripe review of the CGIAR centers and their impact. At SIDART I supported the work for breast feeding promotion and child health, I made some interviews, developed the outline for the questionnaire for women and policy planners. I plan to attend medical school after I receive my bachelors. I will always remember and treasure the experience that I gained while working at SIDART.
